Hello people sorry it took so long, worked late, had alot of work to do!
As i said before please don\'t be put off of buying the demo, as games that i don\'t like may appeal to you. And i don\'t want anyone to miss out on any games, just because i didn\'t like them.
I will tell you what i have played so far.
JAK AND DAXTER
At first i didn\'t think much of the graphics at all, i thought they were to plain and simple, but as time went on they got better, in the way that they sort of came alive, because there is always things going on around you, and it makes it feel like it is living which is really good.
If you press triangle you get a first person view, but you can\'t move around in it, what i mean is you can\'t walk back and forwars, but you can move the camara around.
But it isn\'t all good there are still jaggies, which i thought wouldn\'t be much of an issue in this game, also there are a few bits that are just like crash bandicoot (did i spell it right?), like to kill the bad guys you do a spinning attack, which i didn\'t really like, also they have boxes around that you have break open like in crash, same they didn\'t come up with something new really.
The bad guys won\'t give you much trouble at all, they seem pretty dumb to easy to kill really.
It was fun in some places but for me i wouldn\'t buy it, as i would get bored, but it will appeal to some people in a big way, people that love crash band will like it.
I got to play a mini game, where i maved a cannon around to blow up crates, but the game crashed on me, don\'t know where it was a timer, i don\'t think it was a timer, just an unstable code.
Over all it is ok, i would probably rent it, or borrow it from a freind.
BURNOUT
Right this game is FUN i would give it a rent but only that, because i would be worried that you would get bored quick with it, but if you just give it a quick go every know and then it would be great.
The controls were good, and go well with the game, it surprized me because you do have to use the brakes, well the hand barke really.
The load times are good, pretty fast.
The crashes are really good, and this is were the graphics look great, but it can brake up the game quite alot which after the first few crashes can get on your nerves, because you just want to burn it about.
When you are racing there are lot of jaggies, and it gets hard to see where you have to drive sometimes, which is a shame.
There is sort of a timer in that you have to get to each different check out,w hich isn\'t that hard.
But i did like this game alot, and i would like to play the final game.
DROPSHIP: UNITED PEACE FORCE.
I really liked this game, when you start the game, you can do training missions, two different ones, Flight training and Combat training, which are very good and get you use to the controls well.
You get to play one of the missions, which i could of played more, but i wanted to give you guys some impressions.
The graphics are preety impressive the texture are good.
The only down fully to this game is the load times, which must be close to 1 min which is ****, and i hope they sort it out for the final code.
Over all i would buy this game.
EXTREME-G3
Know i really liked this game, it surprized me, it is very fast, which i think is what i like about it.
The graphics were good, looked pretty clean, much better then wipeout in the jaggies department.
The load times were quick, which makes a change.
The only thing you have to get use to is the how sensitive the analog stick is, but i would give this game a look, you maybe surprized.
GTC:AFRICA
I didn\'t like this game , i thought the textures looked complete crap, and i think it was running at 30fps, i don\'t think i could get in to it, because i don\'t like the way the cars are designed, and the controls didn\'t seem responsive, i wouldn\'t play this if i got it for free.
But hay that is the way i feel about the game, give it a try yourself.
Movies
1. Head hunter
This is the only movie that i have seen on the disk, and it looks really good, will probably give this alook when it comes out.
Anyway that is all i have had time to play, but over all it has been fun playing all these new games, and puts abit more faith in the ps2 for me.(not that mgs2 hasn\'t done that, it is one very very good game, just a shame you guys wont get it until feb and not before christmas.)
I would give the demo disk ago, as i have had a good time so far, i can play the rest and let you guys know if you won\'t just ask me if not then don\'t ask, and i won\'t add anymore of the games to this thread ok.
