WORK BEGINS ON DROPSHIP SEQUEL

Sources close to Sony have revealed that development on Dropship 2 for PS2 has recently begun

17:44 The first game hasn\'t even reached store shelves yet, but confidence in Dropship is obviously high enough within Sony and Team Camden for work to be already underway, according to sources close to the project.
We were informed earlier today that work on Dropship 2 began a couple of weeks ago, and that Team Camden was currently assembling further staff to work on the project, being developed in central London. Dropship is an action-simulation set on Earth in the near future. Players get to control several vehicles during the course of the game, the bulk of which takes place in the air, and the game is currently due for a European release early next year.

No details regarding gameplay or a date were divulged and a spokesperson for Sony was unavailable for comment at the time of writing, but we\'ll keep you up-to-date with any further information we receive. Johnny Minkley
