I consider myself as an anime fan, although I haven\'t had the chance to see too many of them yet.
My favorite is, naturally, Sailor Moon. I prefer the manga over the anime any day, because the anime seems to be aimed towards a younger crowd, a lot more sillyness and crazy stuff. But it is cute in its own way. I have most of the manga albums, only about three are missing!
Avoid the anime english dub at all costs. Pure horror.
Recently I have fallen in love with Angel Sanctuary. I only saw the first \'episode\' of the three part movie, but it was very nice & interesting. I\'d kill to get the manga, because the artwork of Kaori Yuki is incredible, I have never seen anyone draw as well as she can. Sure, the plot is pretty suspicious (brother falling in love with his sister) but the characters are great (and many).
They had Princess Mononoke in a little theater here in November, but it was all sold out! That was very frustrating. When will I finally see it. A friend bought the DVD and we watched it a little bit, and it seems like a masterpiece, like everyone says. The music is beautiful.
Oh yea, almost forgot. I bought X/1999 by Clamp. Those ladies sure can draw. They\'re incredibly creative. The theme is a bit like Angel Sanctuary\'s, so I\'ll be sure to love it, once I get some more albums.
A fellow anime enthusiast has loads of Blade of the Immortal manga. She says it\'s great, and with all the feodal Japan action, I can\'t help but agree.
Runouni Kenshin is surely the next anime I\'ll get to know. Once again. Feodal Japan. Katanas. Samurai. Kimonos & hakamas. What else do I need.
And on the shoujo side again... Ah my goddess looks funny ^_^ Got to buy it.
I have seen Akira, Gits & Ninja Scroll, but I didn\'t really like them.
