Just played the demo last night for awhile

enviroments are cool but I\'m no fan of overhead cameras that can\'t zoom

I\'ll be picking up my copy probably tommorrow since Software etc never called me today to tell me my pre-paid copy is in

Well then its different from the demo cause you can only move in a circle from the smae height above the action

its not bad but I still prefer a more behind the character camera that controls

The Summoner had this but it also didn\'t come close to living up to the technical brilliance in BG: DA. But I still enjoyed being able to place the camera almost anywhere I wanted too

to me, i think that camera it the basis of the game if you have a bad camera or bad camera angles thenthe game would get frustrating and old quick, i have played many games with the worst camera angles and might as well thrown the game away, its that important

My brother and I played it for like 4 hours last night.  I was the girl (mage), and he was the tall man.  This game is very cool -- possibly even my game of the year.  The graphics are beautiful with no aliasing and great lighting.  The lip syncing(sp?) is done pretty well too.  I can\'t wait for my brother to get home so we can play some more.

My son and I started a two player game last night and we really enjoyed it.  However, I don\'t believe that you can zoom in the camera.  At least I have not been able to do it yet.  The camera can be "circled" in certain areas, but you cannot zoom.  Once you "circle" the camera, it stays in that position until you "circle" some more or alternately, you can reset the camera by pressing a button.  Overall it works pretty well.  Some of the enemies can be quite large, this might be why they decided to set the camera up so high.  Also, in two player mode, in order for any single player to move in an area outside of the camera view, both players must move together.  The high camera angle helps in this instance since both players must be on the same screen at all times.  If the camera was not set up so high, the screen would get "crowded" for two player games.  I would highly recommend this game, especially for the two player capability.  BTW, we were playing the actual game, not the demo.

I played BG: DA for 1.5 hours last night and 4.5 this morning.

I\'m not a huge fan of the over head camera but this game would\'t work with a behind character camera cause baddies attack from behind and if they do they cause more damage

This game is a joy to play. I\'m loving it and I really wanted to call in sick today so I could stay home and play it.

I\'m such a huge D+D fan and to see versions of D+D on the PS2 is a pleasure

I would like to see a PC styled multiple character D+D RPG on the PS2 someday as well.

I\'m the elven mage chick, and I have to admit for a bunch of polygons  she sure is hot when you take off all her armor and let her run around in her undies.

Can\'t wait to continue on

The camera sticks in my head due to my experience with the Summoner and the city of Lanelle. It would of been tremendously easier to get around if you could see the Horizon

in BG: DA it would be nice to be able to zoom becuase close ups of this wonderfully detailed game would go along way in making the game that much more enjoyable

and I don\'t think a behind the head camera would work in this game cause enemies get behind you do to the sheer amount of them but a quick 1st person view mode would have been a nice touch as well

never the less I\'m sitting here just waiting for the time to pass so I can race home and start jammin again
