What game should I get for christmas?

Ok I\'ve already got Tony Hawks 3 for christmas but I want another game.

Heres the shortlist.

Silent Hill 2: Loved the first one got major hopes for the second one. The demo seemed good.

J&D: Not keen on platformers as such anymore but I have really liked them in the day. Super Mario World springs to mind. I don\'t mind giving this game a whirl I suppose.

TMB: This game is finally coming out in the UK. Haven\'t played any of the original games and car combat sounds fairly good.

DMC: Everyone says its amazing but it just looks like a glorified shooting game (ZOE springs to mind) Probably just because im not informed thats all.

Baulders Gate: I had real high hopes for this game until it turned out that the PS2 version was more action orientated. A bit like Heros of Might and Magic. Still seems good though.


I thinking Silent Hill 2 but what do you guys think ?

lol, Silent Hill 2 isn\'t a game i\'d feel comfortable playing on a happy day like christmas.

I\'m getting SSX Tricky for Christmas cuz\' it sets the mood better.

LOL!!  Thats a hard choice.  I think J&D, DMC or TMB.  

Get Silent Hill 2... Forget the "happy day" bull****.

Devil May Cry or Twisted Metal: B

I never played ZOE but I love DMC

id get more than one

j & D: like you i normally dont like platform games, but im hooked on this, been playing it for 5 1/2 hours non stop.....its amazing!!!! and really fun

silent hill 2 : i too really liked the first one, and the second one did not disappoint, the plot its some what hard to get, but its till very good!!!!!

tm:b : i too have never played them b4, but got it thurs( and j & d) havent played to much as playing j&d, but what i did seemed very good!!! controls take a while to get used to, as does the speed of the game as it is fu*king fast!!!! excellent

dmc : only played a demo, but its meant to be excellent......ive put this one of till christmas so i can spend more time with it

GET SSX TRICKY!

I love it\'s multiplayer! SOO FUN!

I recommend Smugglers Run2: Hostile Terrortory, great game.. not bad in the multiplayer either...

Why don\'t you get FFX man?

FFX isnt out in the UK till next yr.

I\'m in the same situation mate, just got bond, pes and smackdown 3! gettin THPS3 for xmas, but i want J&D, SH2, TM:B, SSX Tricky, Airblade and WRC.

What do you reccomend?? I had the 1st SSX, is it still worth getting Tricky??

Nevermind, you have the first, so you have a good Snowboard title.

Just get Devil May Cry or MGS2.

Well like you said you are in the same situation as me. I didn\'t add Tricky to the list because im a bit sour about that game. I like you had the first one and eventually sold it. The continuous cornering slowdown really got on my nerves. Although Tricky is meant to get rid of this I still don\'t think getting a game that has its courses redone and like 1 or 2 new tracks is worth it over the other titles which are now out in the UK.

Been playing the Airblade demo for ages. The game rocks! Infact I only went for THPS3 because I loved the first two so much. So it was mainly a franschise thing. Im not going to get both they are both too similar.
