Thanks to Gaming Age for the info.  I think Blood Omen 2 owns!!  PS2 just have so much games coming out its unreal!! :D

 "At the Eidos press event, I was glad that we saw Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen 2 after Herdy Gerdy, because if we were shown it first, it might have had a bigger impact on my view of Herdy Gerdy. Simply put, Blood Omen 2 is looking drop dead gorgeous. There is a lot of detail in the town, with really nice textures, lighting and a brand new engine that is pushing the game at a solid 60 fps. The overall look is simply stunning. The game has come a long way visually as it went from looking good to almost amazing from the last time I saw it.
Unfortunately, the version we had available to us only had a small section of the game open for playing. Like in the first Blood Omen, Kain will need the take the blood of his enemies in order to sustain his life. Since the game is a sequel and despite it now being 3D, they’ve decided to keep his blood sucking faithful to the original in that while the person may be on the ground, the blood will be sucked out from him and into his mouth.

Unlike the Soul Reaver series, Blood Omen 2 relies much more on action than puzzle-designed levels. While there will be a fair share of puzzles to solve, things such as stealth and combat have a significant emphasis on the gameplay. Kain will have the ability to take any weapon from any NPC that he kills, but he will be only able to carry one weapon at a time. On top of that, Kain will have several abilities, such as a super jump and mind control over villagers. Since there is an emphasis on combat, they have also upped the quality of the AI. The AI from guards will actually act similar to those found in Metal Gear Solid. They’re aware of sound and sight, and look for things that are out of place. When they suspect something they will investigate.

Now that things are polished up and the game is coming together nicely, I can easily say this is one of the titles I’m definitely looking forward to in the early part of 2002. As it stands, the game is almost done and should hit around February. We’ll bring you new impressions from other parts of the game as soon as they are made available to us. Keep an eye out for this one."

I cant wait for this game! Blood Omen 1 was just sickening! the next one is gonna be unreal!!!!!! definately on my to-get list.

Let\'s hope that it\'s not a let-down like Soul Reaver 2.

That game made me feel like I was ripped off.

No Bosses, Too Short, Ending Too Easy...

I think of Soul Reaver 2 as a really big ending to Soul Reaver.  :p
