It may boost X-box sales, because microsoft cant do it their damn selves, they gotta go jack one of our developers to make their production grow just like Nintendo did with the Resident Evil Series. I do have a problem with it... It just comes to show that the x-box/gamecube cant stand up to the hype without our help.

The PS2 will stand alone on top.

You know there is nothing stopping Sony from bidding on Take Two themselves

Obvioulsy Sony is not interested, and its smart business for MS.

I heard Sony has a game developer named Dogfish..
They are ex. DMA, Bullfrog workers, and they are supposed to be working on some new game.. (Secret)

Any truth to this? :confused:

Rockstar is owned by TakeTwo..

I, too, am confused.  So will we be seeing GTA4 on the PS2 (assuming that there will be a GTA4)?  And what will happen to State of Emergency?  Is that still a PS2 game or is it being reprogrammed for the Xbox instead?

The only thing I will say...wait and see. Merger talks have always come and gone. Most of the time, nothing happens.

If Take 2 does merge with MS, well, they are not doing this to help the competition so future Take 2 games will probably be Xbox exclusive if this did happen.

We always see these kind of news snippets. Most of the time it doesn\'t mean much.

We got their best title GTA 3. I probably won\'t miss the others except GTA 4 if it comes out for X-Box only due to this merger.
