This may sound like a stupid question but here it is

I have a PAL playstation 2 and was wondering if you can play if NTSC games on it

The reason i ask is that i can play NTSC DVDs on it because my TV has that option. Because if i could it would mean being able to buy FFX 5 months before it comes out in my country
any ideas or anything

Not my area of expertice(wonder if that\'s spelled right?) Anyway I wouldn\'t think so, and i\'m suprised you can play DVD\'s being they have global codes and stuff.

Damn I was going to go to bed 15 mins ago..

The multizone DVD remote alleviates the hassle of the Zones
When i recently hired a game (silent hill 2) it had an extra DVD the making of and the was Zone 1 so im not sure whether the game was NTSC or whether something got screwed up along the way. But im not gonna waste money just to find out whether i was right or not
anyone else had any experience with anything like this
