I have the hiccups.

And it litterally hurts. My throat feels extremely sore, as if I just threw up (I didn\'t just throw up, it just feels like I did). I\'m hiccuping every 30 seconds or so.. urggh.

Any suggestions aside from the conventional ones I\'ve tried already (water methods, holding breath, chopping off toes)?

I know you mentioned it but, hold your breath with your tongue on the roof of your mouth. Do it a couple times for as loonnnnnnggggg as you can then dont think about it. ;) It always works for me.

sorry no your not its that i heard that a sudden shock can cure the Hiccups, and seeing this is a forum i couldn\'t just sneak up behind you and shout BANG.
