Yeah thats right 8 out of 10 for Max Payne.

To tell the truth, I\'m a little dissapointed, my PC wont run the PC version, and I was lookin forward to this. I thought it would have been better (closer to 9). Never mind, i guess i shall save £40 anyway!!

Hmmmm, the Xbox version got a 9.2.  I was expecting something like this since Max Payne was developed for the PC anyway.  I\'d still recommend the PC version to the console ones.  But then again, there are people like Rick that have compatibility probs. :sleepy:

i think the Xbox version is worth buying..it has all the textures ported perfect and it runs at 60 fps...

Yeah im a bit disapointed too. This could have been a really good game. May still be, im not going to base my predictions / opinions on one review but still if the games really good everyone tends to say its good.

I pre-ordered Max Payne back when Amazon was doing their 3 for 2 deal.  Soooo...I\'ll probably have it by late this week or early next.  I wish I could play it on PC or maybe even X-box, but alas, my PC is a 300mhz celeron , and I\'m not getting an X-box until I stop hearing of center channel failures and "contact MS" screens.  I still have hope for the PS2 version of MP, though!  I\'ll let you know what I think when it arrives.

MP is very good i completed it on PC if you cant play on pc id get it for ps2. and dont forget SD JBI got 8.1 and i thought that was ****ing great yes i have it . . . . dont forget just beacuse 1 member of the gamespot team say somthing dont mean its gospal

Actually Star Wars Starfighter for Xbox has perfect 5.1 with the center channel in full use.  The problems with the 4.1 sound were with the developers and the software (thanks goodness).

I\'m reallyrelieved to hear that it\'s a software problem.  X-box\'s 5.1 sound is very appealing to me.  I have the optical cable for PS2, and I usually set it to play on all the speakers, but I\'ve never experienced a game in true DD or DTS 5.1

My brother hooked my PS2 to his "Suround Sound" and it\'s really cool because I played GTA3(somewhat like MP) and it feels like you\'re in the car or in Liberty City.  I also have played MGS2 on it, and Silent Hill 2.  That \'s very creepy to hear at night.:eek:   Just thought I\'d tell ya.
