Has anyone played this game? I have it in my hands right now un-opened and I was wondering if its a keep or should I return it for another game.

Id like some opinions on the game... Ive wanted it but there are so many other games out there I dunno what to do.

Any help ASAP will be appreciated, as the game isnt gonna stay un-opened for much longer :) its just burning a hole in my hands.

I am a huge hockey fan and I think it\'s the best hockey game ever made. It took alot of the problems that were in 2001 and fixed them completley. I doubt you will be displeased with this game.

Also.. are there fights? Cause ya gotta know... fighting is a part of hockey, they cant leave it out.

Yes the game does have fighting and they can occur quite often if you set it that way. However the fighting is rather simplistic and I don\'t really like it that much but its not horrible either. Fighting aside this game rocks. What do you think of it now that you\'ve played it proud to be?

Sorry to disappoint, but I think Im going to return the game for Jak & Daxter, or get my money back and wait for FFX. Its not because this game isnt good or anything, dont get me wrong.. it is a great game. I just cant get into it like I can any other games. Ill probably end up getting it again if this gaming craze ends any time soon, cause right now there are way to many other games Id rather get.
I might just wait till NHL 2003, and see if that is Online.. cause I think will be great. Till then... ;)

I didnt necessarily \'give up\' on it, It was a great game and all, but for one.. I did want a different game, and two... 2000+k isnt something I have on my MC. :) So I returned it, got Devil May Cry... Definately worth it.
