DMC - Nightmare Blob

Im in need of some assistance. Im fighting the Nightmare blob and I have no idea of how to kill this thing. Ive read the info in the file-enemy, but I didnt read anything good that helped me try to kill this thing.

I know most of you have been through this game at least once so.. anyone?

Hmm I kinda forget exactly how, I know he annoyed me for a little while too. If I remember correctly you have to hit the Chinese symbols in the circle on the wall. Then run around dodging his attacks and when the little purple ball appears hack the crap out of it. Check gamefaqs.com they should have lots of techniques to use.

Thats exactly how you do it. And if you use holy water it will take no time at all to beat him. But make sure you\'ve hit the chinese symbols and he comes out of the blob before you use holywater.
