I agree piracy is not on.

However your threats seem a little empty. I mean the Internet has whats known as freedom of speech. There will be millions of people like him on the Internet posting on forums like these. Im sure some people even pass on details such as IPs and the like.

However just because he said something bad in a newsgroup doesn\'t mean Sony will hire lawyers to follow it up. I mean he could be lying couldn\'t he?

The mods have banned him from their forums. Thats the power they have. By all means use it. However when people say stuff like "wait till he gets a letter from his atony" it gets a bit lame. Do you really think this 15 year old is going to be persuded by the law because of something he wrote on one of the 1000s of forums on the Internet?

I don\'t think it holds up enough ground to let that happen. Well i\'ve never heard of anything like that happening before.

yep, Sony really hate mod-chips, boot cds etc. I doubt that if this guy indeed did have a boot cd. Sony wouldn\'t want to know about it. I\'m SURE they would.

Well maybe. I do think Sony takes piracy seriously (recently they have hammed down on mod chip creators) but I just don\'t think they will look up every claim to piracy they recieve through their mailbox. They must get a load of "person x is selling boot cds" type e-mails and it would be too time consuming and costly to check all these people out, although they could pass them onto the respective authorities.
