Wow, I must say that fur looks nice.

Funny, Starfox was my main reason to get the GC @ launch. Back when it was a launch title. Looks good though. Hope it has a nice soundtrack. :)

Yeah, This game was also the reason I wanted a Gamecube, I\'ll buy a Gamecube whenever this game comes out:D

Yes the fur is amazing!  But I still don\'t like the childish look.  I\'m sure it\'ll be a great game though.

Looking damn good, if I may say. Now I\'m still not happy with the idea of making it an adventure game, but maybe they\'ll throw in a couple \'classic\' Star Fox levels for all us old timers...

Either way, count me in on Fox\'s latest quest.

I cant believe they changed it to an adventure game.  If they dont have the air planes and crap whats the point? throwing Fox McCloud in as a character is just an excuse for lack of creativity.  Why didnt they just create a new character for an adventure game and make another regular star fox game.

This is just my opinion on the change to adventure.  In no way am i saying this will be a bad game, it looks great.:)

lol, in pic 4:  Either the developers missed a couple of spots or fox is going bald on his left shoulder....... or maybe that is just a lot of deatail, it is showing the spaces in between his fur.

I can\'t say I\'m interested in this game, but I have to admit that that fuzzy effect looks awesome.  Is that done through hardware like on the Xbox, or through software?

This game never really excited me until recently.  I always just figured I\'d buy it since I like Star Fox and I like Zelda which this game is a kinda hybrid of.  I wasn\'t really expecting much but this game could turn out to be pretty cool indeed.  

Notice how Fox has gotten older looking.  He has more attitude to him than he had on Star Fox 64 and even the early shots of this game.

On the contrary, I think it takes a great deal more creativity to make a good adventure game. Depending on what kind of what other genre\'s they mix with it and how the puzzles are presented, this may well be the game that piques my intrest in the NGC. Guess I\'ll have to read some reviews and see if this game falls more into the "Resident Evil/Monkey Island" type adventure or the "Tomb Raider" type. (TR shouldn\'t even be considered an Adventure IMO)

As for it bein too kiddy looking, I don\'t think so. I think it looks very cool indeed and I love the fur effects. Just because is "Cartoonish" looking dosen\'t mean it\'s "Kiddy". There\'s a big difference between market aim and artistic lisence. Leisure Suit Larry 7 and the flick Heavy Metal: FAKK 2 were cartoons. Neither one of them has under a R - M(17 & up) rating. We\'ll just have to wait and see how it\'s presented.

Here\'s a little history on the development if you care...

Dinosaur Planet for N64.
Brought over to Gamecube.
Shigeru Miyamoto: Hey, that could do ok with the Star Fox license.
Rare: Huh? Well, OK.
Then: Star Fox Adventures: Dinosaur Planet

They didn\'t set out to change the series, Miyamoto and Nintendo thought it fit.  There are a few flying mini-levels and like, Star Fox arrives on the planet with his Arwing...  It\'s a spin-off game.

One person said it was childish, aside from the sidekick dinosaur, I don\'t really think it is...  I did notice they gave the one fox-chick boobs which is kind of weird.

Personally, I\'m on the fence with this one...  It\'ll just depend if I feel like blowing the cash at the time.
