man is this game addictive...and I am just playing the demo!     I actally went down a rail upsidedown (sp).......no extra points but it looked sweeeet.......too bad I didnt get it on tape!  I have heard noting on this game in here for awhile.......what happened???????? Maybe that is a stupid question with MGS,GTA and FFX out :)

Yeah I gave me mom a list of 5 PS2 games I want and she chooses one at random since she doesn\'t know a thing about games and SSX Tricky was one of the 5.

I loved this game for the first day, but then I got bored. Well not bored, just lost a bit of interest in it. IT still was better than average but it doesnt compare with more recent games IMO.

there were two extra tracks in tricky , one for " beginners " & one for " experts "

I decided against this game. I sold the original due to horrendous slowdown (esp in the PAL version). I was going to get Tricky due to faster frame rate but the videos i\'ve see still show the anonying slowdown that plagued the original, just a bit less often.

So I got Silent Hill 2 and Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 instead.

I would have got Tricky instead of SH2, Iv\'e seen loads of fotage on it on the PSW DVD it had no slowdown and they said it has very very little bits of slowdown but not enough to spoil the game.

Yeah prehaps your right. Owning the original also meant that I had played all the original courses. I mean maybe SSX Tricky does redo the courses but the fact is there still generally the original courses.

I really wanted Silent Hill 2 though so that took preference.

well i havent been able to play it much as ive been up my bros for christmas, ( been kicking a$$ on pro evo) it seems real fun ive won gold on all the races, i had the original and thats part of the prob...... i know where some of the shortcuts are, so i lost out on that new game looking for shortcuts, the first one took me ages to complete, but after the fitst raCE ON A TRACK I WOULD HAVE WON IT WITH A GOLD ( sorry about caps lock) i found it very easy!!!!!!!! yeah the tracks are slightly different, but i think they should of just made new tracks completeley!!


also where is mac???? he was my fav on the first, but hes replaced by a similar looking marty, but its not him as mac was american, marty speaks a foreign language

Mac\'s in Tricky.  Whos Marty??

This game is really addicting, Xmas night I played it from 11 to 4 in the morning.  Awesome game, I love it.
