Wow bob, you okay man?

IMO Max P sucks, and is boring.  GTA3 is the answer if you want to blow stuff up, and no, you don\'t have to read the comic things.  The game is presented in monologue so everything in the comics is spoken to you.  I would have preferred movies.

Yeah Max Payne is boring. If you really want it though get it for the PC and not the PS2. It is much easier to control on the PC than the PS2. If your looking for a FPS for the PS2 then get something like Red Faction, 007:AUF, or Half-Life.

ExtremistAS is correct! if u want it go for PC, my reasons not to like on PS2 are...
1. low resolution textures
2. no usb mouse and keyboard support
3. framerate
4. and the worst, can\'t save when u want to :crap:

if you own a PC go for it and it won\'t disappoint you ;)

Max Payne is a boring game, a bit better than most FPS since it\'s a thrid person perspective game. If u have a decent PC, go for the PC version.

btw, my reason for loving the PS2:

(1) No mouse and keyboard support!! Those are for people who can\'t handle the joypad.. :D Real Men don\'t use mouse!!! LOL.

(2) Minimal FPS and RTS games! There\'s nothing but FPS and RTS on the PC and I hate them.

(3) Can\'t save game anywhere! It really test your skill! Saving every 2 seconds is for people who can\'t handle REAL action.

(4) Big screen TV action! I can just lay back and enjoy action in the living room without straining myself in front of the monitor.

Oh well, I guess I\'m always a console gamer at heart. :)

How can you say that Max Payne is boring? I don\'t get it...
It\'s one of the cooler games I\'ve played.
But as everyone else says, get the pc version.

I\'ve never played the PC version, all I know is the PS2 version is pretty fun, but not the easiest to control

I\'m currently playing the game right now, and I love it! The controls are a breeze once you get used to hit. I love it, requires good hand eye quardination. Makes you use your noodle having to control both Anolog sticks at once.

This game rocks it\'s fun it has the Matrix style special effects. That what I really like about it. It\'s cool being able to dodge bullets and see them coming at you and leaving your gun.

The motion blur is nice too, makes some scenes look very cool. This game doesn\'t get it\'s justice because people say boo hoo the controls are bad. The controls are great once you get the hang of them. Plus it loads of fun. Nowadays people want easy games. Bah!! I want challenging games! And learning a new control method is just that much more fun.

Took the words right out of my mouth. I thought the game was pretty kewl except for the controls. I\'m pretty used to them now, but even still at times it gets me all shot up or killed.

I would have gotten it for the pc, but my graphix card is chitty :) Plus like someone else said, I like my bigscreen and dislike my 16" monitor.
