Problem:My Pal PS2 can play my Region2 DVD?

I recently got a R2 DVD movie which I tried to play on my PAL PS2.But unfortunately a message telling me it cant be playied due to region restrictions appears.It is supposed to play Region2 DVDs.:confused:

I even checked Diagnostics On and still I have the same problem.

Can someone help??PLEEEEAAASSEEEEE????:crying:

More info please...
If it is a Jap DVD (R2 too) you can´t play it back on a EU R2 PS2 !
...not without some "changes"...
