so ive been playing my xbox the last few days...

got halo from work, single player = yawn.  co-op mode = WOW!  hella fun.

dont care for DOA, so i\'lll skip that one

been playing munch\'s oddysee like its crack!  cant get enough

madden 2002 would be 1000 better if i could jam my dual shock into the controller port

oh, and dont let anyone BS you about the size of the unit and the controller.  they both are WAY too bulky.  the controller = crap

overall, i\'d say it was well worth the low price i got it for
but easily pushed aside to go back to  FFX.

my ebay  shemnue 2 import should be here tomorrow, and you wont see me for a while, but im sure clyde\'s antics will keep you entertained

Anyways, I agree with you.  Me and a friend beat halo on legendary today and we were both shocked at the extra footage in the ending.  Completely hilarious.  Worth all the extra effort.

no other chance to play the next oddworld otherwise, and who knows what developer microsoft will throw thier guerilla tactics into and buy next

plus i couldnt pass up the low price i got.  some smuck paid over 500$ for a package deal, that i paid 1/2 for.  

anyways, lemme restate that the xbox controller is pure crap  now that i own one

The only real problem with the controller for me so far is the trigger buttons. I find that they\'re a little stiff and they cramp my delicate fingers.

I\'ve been too busy with MGS2 to be playing anything on the XBox.

why would you get madden if it is already on ps2. There is not a difference but a slight graphical difference in the two ports. I would have got fever if I where you. Fever is great.


I agree the xbox controller sucks ass. I hate it. The thing is two damn big and I hate the how the button are spaced. That the only grip I  have with my xbox is that damn controller.

I went from the Genesis to the PSX and hated the controller.  I thought it was the worst concept in video games--buttons on the front?!?.  After a few months I started to like it, and now I think it\'s a fine controller (still prefer 6 face buttons).

Because you are used the the button layout and design of the dual shock you dislike xbox controller.  If you had been using the xbox controller for 5 years then someone introduced the dual shock everyone would think it was too small and its buttons too far apart.

I love the xbox controller.  The amazing thing about humans is that they are umatched in their adaptability.  Your hands will figure it out, and your opinion will soften.

As for the size of the xbox--put a HD, multi tap and a modem on the PS2 and see how big it is.  It\'s apples and oranges.  It\'s like saying the PS2 is too big compared to the gameboy advance.  Xbox offers more, and therefore has to be bigger.

The most difficult thing is rapidly switching between 3 controllers.  I go from PS2 pad, to X-Box pad and then to GCN pad and it\'s damn weird each time.  THe X-Box to the PS2 pad is the biggest difference though because my mind set for the analog sticks is for a more spaced out feel.  Just strange.  You can\'t understand what I mean until you play them all in a row though for like a couple hours at a time.
