You\'ve been betrayed and left for dead.  Now you\'re taking revenge, unless the city streets get you first.  Mob boses need a favor, crooked cops need help and street gangs want you dead.  You\'ll have to rob, steal, and just plain kill to survive

You forgot the FREE genre...

SHENMUE!!!

:fro: :fro: :fro:
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

Shenmue is an Adventure. Anyone familiar with PC adventures from Sierra and LucasArts will instantly recognise the noumerous gameplay parallels, and even Sega\'s own websites lists it as such. F.R.E.E = Hype.. that\'s it.

Yeah, and Shenmue more than lived up to the hype.

Well no.. actually it didn\'t. FREE promised to be an engine that would allow you to go anywhere and do anything.. to actually put you into real live bustling japaneese city and allow to interact with it as such. That\'s not the case. Shenmue does have an extraodinary level of interaction, but not to the magnitude it needed to live up to the hype. At it\'s heart it\'s still just an adventure game (sprinkled with bits of other genre\'s) with lot more interaction than most.

Whatever...

I\'d knock your picks except I happen to respect other people\'s opinions.
