That little end sequence was the world where time was compressed. But remember when Squall said that if they all think of eachother they will be together, even only if in memory? Well Squall was thinking about Rinoha when he was all alone and vice versa so their minds led them to one another. I thought the ending was a lil weird too but the graphic were very nice.
