SYDNEY (Reuters) - A Korean Air (KAL) cargo plane tipped up on its tail while being unloaded Wednesday and sat at Sydney airport with its nose pointing skywards, officials said.

The KAL MD-11 aircraft had just landed and had stopped at the airport\'s freight terminal when the mishap occurred.

Fire crews and airport emergency officials were at the scene and normal airport operations were unaffected, Sydney Airports Corporation spokesman Bill Kemmery said.

``They were offloading cargo and obviously something has happened whereby the balance has shifted and basically seen the tail end up on the ground,\'\' Kemmery told Reuters.

Ten people on board were taken off by a ``cherry picker\'\' crane but no one was hurt, a New South Wales state fire service spokesman said.

KAL officials in Australia were not available for comment and there were no details immediately available about the extent of the damage.

They must have unloaded my large box of cash in the front too early. I warned them that they should have put that box in the center of the plane.

That pic is funny. Atleast everyone got out ok and no one was killed or injured. That could have been a very ugly situation.
