BORING!!!!  Automatics are so dull.  I have one, but I would love to go back to a stick.
I wear a necklace now because I like to know when I\'m upside down.

So, so, simple. :)

With a stick you are always doing something.  Automatics you just sit there sticks you have to move your feet a lot more and plus it impresses the ladies[yeah right:rolleyes:].  Where can you find an automatic vehical that is example a Ferrari or any other cool car.

Hmm...that\'s true but if I ever do get money to afford something like that you all will be the first to know.:D   Which will be when I\'m 50 and you\'re all 80.  I wish my mom still had her 89\' blue Chevy Camarro.  I don\'t care if you like Fords, Dogdes, Chevys, ect. that car was cool and it was a stick shift too and was pretty cool.  Now it\'s gone.

love auto, have no intention of using stick any timee soon, and there are so many pluses to having a auto that a stick can\'t give you... not race wise or drive wise but "other" things :)

To answer the Ferrari question, there are some Ferrari\'s that come in automatic, they do this because they have a computer that is more precise in shifting than any person

drag racers are automatic because there is no option for error.

NO, not really, a skilled shifter could shift better than most automatic cars but the ferrari has a newly designed performance automatic shifter in it

ah so i c

manuals only give a car about 3 extra hp thats it, and there is 0 chance for error in a auto.

Yeah the only advantage for manuals is in the fact that they have the potential to be faster and they\'re more fun to drive

Learning to drive a 5 is easier if you have a tachometer.  Usually 2500-3000 rpms is a good take off.

Once you mater up-shifting, try down-shifting without using your brakes.  I love to hear my turbo whine :D
