Have fun playing GT3 with your mouse and keyboard. ;)

I have a question about what the article said:
Quote
One interesting thing to look out for is the possibility of online compatibility between the two games. The prospect of PC gamers taking on PS2 gamers at what was, up until now, their own game, is a very enticing one. Since GT4 will feature online play, for its PC counterpart to have this is not out of the question.

They say that PC GT3 people might be able to play GT4 PS2 people.  In order for that to work, GT4 would have to have the same levels as in GT3 (That would suck), or GT3 PC would have to have GT4 levels.  I just don\'t see that happening...

Maybe GT4 will have the same levels + new one.. Or if it will use the HDD you might have to download the old once onto the Harddrive?

And die hard PC gamers silently bite their lips and fight back the tears of disappointment.

That\'s like seeing your girlfriend undressing before you only to reveal that she has a third leg. :D

Who needs a mouse and a keyboard?

Plug your PS2 controller into a USB port.  This particular model even supports force feedback too.

I personally have a Logitech steering wheel with pedals, now I can finally use it when this comes out. :p

Sorry to burst the bubble guys...

Sony denies Gran Turismo for PC

We\'ve seen a couple of posts on this already so we thought we\'d clear things up a bit. A short time ago, in an interview Kazunori Yamauchi stated that he would like to bring Gran Turismo 3 to the PC to "reach a higher audience." His comments weren\'t meant to imply that the game is coming to PC -- just that it would have a sizable audience if it did. Our contacts at Sony have categorically denied that there\'s any truth to the rumor so it looks like, for now, PC gamers will have to get their racing fix elsewhere.

You would need a mega mother of a video card to be able to display this game say at 1024x720 at 60fps with PS2 quality textures and polygon count.

That\'s the exact GF3 iv\'e got housed in my tower m8.. well, that is until the Ge-force 4..
i\'ll post info on the GF4 it if anybody is interested. also, any chance of telling me which version the GF3
pictured above is? I brought mine as an OEM job so i am unaware of maker / supplier

Anyway, it sure runs nice, But it just wouldn\'t be able to run GT3 @ 60fps.
There\'s just not enough speed through the AGP port

Edit: ahh, just checked the picture link.. Apparently it\'s a Ti500.. my card looks exactly the same, the difference is that
the Ti500 has quicker memory and faster core speed.

Stanzo- The article never said GT3 was coming to PC.  A newer version called Gran Turismo Professional is confirmed though.

I think the bubble is still very well in tact.  I hope at least.
