Here\'s an in-game video. Looks really awesome:

http://www.coremagazine.com/movies/smr.mpg

I also believe this game is blend of fighting and adventure genre, meaning that you can start and play through it with several different characters (but don\'t hold me on this)

Here\'s also some excerpts from the EDGE magazine interview with the authors of the game (same team who did Tenchu 1 & 2):

----------------

Though it was originally intended that the game would have a more comic bent the final game is more in-tune with Tenchu. Emphasis is put on pride, drama, elegance and passion.

According to the developer the game can be completed in two hours if the player trys to rush through it. However, there are multiple routes and endings to the game. A percentage meter telling the player how much they\'ve discovered is included to aid replayability.

NPCs may act differently in the cut-scenes (which uses the in-game engine) depending on the route taken by the player.

The main character can be edited and with the collection of different Katanas (three in total) new lists of moves become available.

Acquire\'s CEO, Takuma Endo, is unhappy about the memory limit on PS2 and says the game is using 99.99% of the machines capability.

The team spend an inordinate amount of time on getting the games engine up and running. Only one third of the features Acquire wished to have in the game are included. Focus was put on the Story and AI.

Acquire are hoping that the combat will mimic the choreographed elegance of the best martial arts movies.

Whooooa!... so that\'s at the same level as DOA2:Hardcore, isn\'t it?

God, these developers are sooo smart. The PS2 is so hard to develop for, and they mastered it from day one. It\'s a shame that they\'re wasting all that mental capacity into making videogames.

PS: Any game with katanas is welcomed.
Whatever
