I hope u know that image of our accent is not true at all and i dont know how it ever got started.  I am around hundreds of canadians a day and no one i know talks like that.  maybe we talked like that a long time ago but not anymore.

Hehehe, same for us Aussies, I hate those lameo 80s Aussie movies with these people talkin really weird. No one in Australia talks like that...

I must say though, the English accent has high puke value...

I just voted for Italians and i haven\'t heard any Italians having any accents.  I just voted it because I know this woman who is Italian decent have a deep, grumpy voice.  Her voice sound somewhere between a shreek and a man\'s voice.  Very deep, very annoying, and scary.  But no accent.  Just her voice.  She looks like a tomboy, you know.  She loves using me and scaring me.  She is one heck a mean old *****.

I LOVE the crocodile hunter accent. What is he, from New Zealand or what? Anyway, he cracks me up everytime I hear his voice.

Got to be the irish... have you ever tried to have a conversation with one?
I was on a bus once for 25 minutes with an irish guy talking about ireland.. i couldn\'t understand a bloomin\' word.
as you do, i just kept nodding my head and saying yeah.. no.. really.. etc.. u get my drift..

The really hard part is if you try to talk to a drunk one.. you\'ll get more sense out of a dried apricot.

I really don`t hate any accent. But I almost don`t understand South Bavarian people.

He is an Aussie, and his wife is from LA.

He lives in Brisbane, where I do, I have been to his crocodile zoo, its pretty cool.

NZ\'s talk with an accent between an AUSSIE and an ENGLISH accent.

Aussies say the word \'Six\' as \'Six\', but NZ\'s say \'Seix\'.

Its sounds SOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooo funny...

it is true. I live in buffalo, canada is literally 10 minutes from my hoose. I go there to gamble, see concerts, and see naked 19 year old hungarian girls.

Now let\'s talk about the western new york accent.
It is very nasal and has strange grammatical errors that seem to be acceptable.

In south b-lo, if you are addressing more than one person, it is fine to say:

"are youse gonna come with me to the store?"

We have this woman at work who sez crap like this all the time.
also, the letter "A" is pronounced strangely. the word "BAG" can come out sounding like "bay-ag".
somehow, I avoided all of this. Beats me.

Asian accents (Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Indian, etc.) are annoying when trying to speak broken English.

We\'ve already been over this Kimahri!  Just because YOU can\'t hear the Canadian accent doesn\'t mean it doesn\'t exist.  I\'ve visited all over Canada, including Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Waterloo, and Vancouver, and I promise you I\'m not imagining it.  

BTW, you\'ve got it backwards.  My brother-in-law is Canadian, and his father told him that 50 or 60 years ago the modern Canadian speech oddities did not exist.  They only came about relatively recently.

Im not talking about slight accents, of course we have them.  Im talking about this image that has been created about us, like we talk like yokels or pronouncing words differently like "about", and people claim that is becuase of an accent.  We dont prononce about "aboot" and i can gaurundamntee you that we dont.
