this is a rediculous poll and thread

EA makes some great games NHL 2002 rocks, as does the Madden series

EA also makes SSX Tricky and NBA Street, and have quite a few titles that are better then most

Not every EA title will live up to everyone standards, but bashing EA cause there NBA Live isn\'t good enough for ya is pretty lame

I\'ll be buying a few EA products through out the years

I disagree quite a bit

I doubt going back to those versions of those games would reveal a better experience on inferior systems

not to mention that diehard Madden and NHL fans aren\'t complaining much and those games continue to get very high grades from most all publications and diehard fans

Yeah, EA Big is doing great. But I have the impression
EA is cashing in on alot of bought franchises, and not
always in a good way.... (J.Bond A.U.F.)
And eh, sorry I just don\'t like hockey or NFL games.

Well, I started the thread on MM2002 being horrible.  That being said, as a whole EA still puts out some quality stuff.  SSX Tricky and NCAA 2002 continue to be played more on my PS2 than anything else.  I\'ve yet to try Madden but then again, never been a fan of Madden, I\'m more of an NFL2K2 kind of person, I guess I go for arcade instead of simulation.  Have yet to try NHL on the PS2 but it was one of my faves on the PSX.  Overall, EA still produces quality, I just wish they would have waited to release MM2002 until they had at the minimum a season mode in it.

Ouch Guys... :(   Guess I need to stop staying up so late to resist the temptation of posting such garbage A?

Oh, I still praise EA for such games as "The Sims", "Alice" etc., but seemed they have been slacking a bit - and what better way to get them back "in the game" than to not buy they\'re software.

BTW EA has announced yet another expansion: The Sims Vacation due this spring i believe.

ill agree theyve been slacking, but at least not in games that i want. Madden 2002 looks really awesome, thunder 2002 is awesome, BUT i just watched a new vid for triple play thats coming out, the field looks aight and the stadium does too along with the shadows, BUT the players look terrible. thanks god im not a baseball fan :).... I also watched a new vid for Tiger Woods 2002 and it looks impressive, ill have to check it out also.

well i used to love ea games, but recentely i dont like them anymore, there games are usually just graphical update, with no real improvements, fifa football is a prime example, ok they changed it this year, but its still not good enough. they make great game like madden and the ice hockry ones, but as i dont come from usa, i dont like the games as much, as i dont support the teams, i mean on fifa theres nothing better than playing as your team and whooping your mate as he plays as his fav team!!!

ggod games that ive been impressed with

ssx,
ssx tricky,
medal of honour,

maddedn
nhl
nba street - but get boring quickly, only good in multi player

but i hate it when the just upgrade the graphics, thats what i thinks gone wrong, everyone else has taken that step forward to improve there game, while ea think the can rest on there laurrels, i mean who wouldnt with success they have had, that unchanged formula, it made them great, but ultimately its there down fall!!!!

so EA pull your finger out!!!

Some of you people have no idea what your talking about. EA is doing fine, you can\'t make a perfect game every year. You can\'t make a perfect game for that matter.

EA will continue to rule the Football and NHL series. And soon they\'ll revamp the other games engines and make them better as well. You people should be more patient, it is a business you know. There is something called competition.

Yeah I sold my soul to EA:rolleyes:

*EDIT* I don\'t know if any of you have seen the new video for the Tiger Woods game, but it looks fantastic. This coming from a game developer that is falling off:rolleyes:
