gameshark question

i know the newer versions come with codes, but you can look up codes on the net, so wouldnt it make more sense to buy the shark off ebay, maybe an older version for cheaper, and just input the codes you can find on the net... reason i ask is the newest version is lie $40, while you can get older versions fo around $25?

You\'ve been betrayed and left for dead.  Now you\'re taking revenge, unless the city streets get you first.  Mob boses need a favor, crooked cops need help and street gangs want you dead.  You\'ll have to rob, steal, and just plain kill to survive

your best bet is to buy a new one as some codes require higher versions of gameshark...
