"The store will take delivery of the UK\'s first Xbox demo pod five weeks before any other retailer, so that avid game fans can have their first opportunity to try out the big black box. Customers will be able to play Halo, Project Gotham Racing, Azurik, Fusion Frenzy and Oddworld. In addition to the main screen, the box will be rigged up to a 40-inch plasma screen to allow other customers to see the challenges."

oooo, a 40-inch plasma screen split 4 ways!  thats what ,  about a 14" x 14" square running at roughly 15 fps?  ugh

its 100 times nicer then the Kiosk at my local Software Etc...

That kiosk makes me cry. My store has a tv with some green plastic around it on a shelf with an XBox sitting below it in a box. This is something out of a gaming dream.

Too much of a London bias in England. I mean its quite cool England getting a X-Box Kiosk, but its always London.

The Software Etc. in my area only has a Microsoft brand TV (Never heard of it) and an XBOX in a clear box. The controllers are broken so we can\'t really try it out.

The PS2 one, however, has a 21" Sony Wega TV w/ 2 working controllers and THPS3 playing in it.

Weird.

We have a kiosk in my town for about a month now. Must be the US model(no Plasma). But it is turned off almost the whole time.
