The wallmart by me has unreal tournament on sale for $19.99.I have never really played this game but a friend of mine said it was pretty good.In your opinion is this a worthwhile purchase? Thanks for the help

NO its not worth it, give me your address and I will maill you my copy I thought the Team Fortress Mod was much better.

Don\'t do it. I don\'t care how tempted you are. Take it from me, I bought this game at PS2 launch and it\'s been played five mintues since that day...Bad...BAD....BAD!

I havn\'t played it on PS2 but on PC it is one of my all time favourites.

UT suxors..... most FPS games sux on consoles. Get yourself a copy of RTCW on PC :)
And all this teamfortress games...... :( They are all the same, just with newer engines.... I have never liked Teamfotress since Quake TF. RTCW is refreshing :) But nothing is better then Counterstrike and Quake 3 Arena when we talk about mulitplayer FPS

If it\'s for the PC, I\'d say download a demo of it first. My suggestion would be to go with Half-Life. If it\'s for the PS2.. don\'t bother. UT and QIII are complete shyt without their online capabilities IMO... just cheap ways to make a buck offa half a game. If you really want a FPS for the PS2, get Red Faction or Half-Life.. something that at least has a good story to it.
