Dropship help

can anybody give me any tips to complete the second mission in campaign 2 were you have to laser target the s.a.m launchers so that the fighter bombers can destroy them. i always keep getting blow up be the helicopters

this one took me sooooo many attempts I lost count

Once overlooking the base zoom in and start lasing the SAM\'s, I presumed you had to maintain the lock :rolleyes:  but you dont so once missile is away switch targets (saved me a lot of time)

Keep an eye on the choppers, there is plenty of time to knock out the SAM\'s so you can catch them as they take off. 1st one on its own is pretty easy but make sure you zoom back out as hitting them zoomed in is not so easy.
The pair of choppers are the killer, you have to get at least one of them early over the base, if both get close you are toast.

Not much else to suggest, I found by zooming right out and watching for the target reticule changing colour hitting them was tricky but not impossible
after the SAM\'s are down it gets better because you have to................................ :eyemouth:

I am stuck again now, some of these missions are damn near impossible at first :evil:

i think you press r1 to change weopons, if this is the level im thinking of, once youve locked on press fire, and a few seconds later, a missile will come from the sky.


this is the levl were you have to fly, then get in a car. the lock on the sams, then you have to drive on and escape??!!!!

done it but then i thought sod it so i got some cheats then completed the game so i can take it  back tomorrow cus i bought it yesterday so im gunner swap it for something else

that sucks, whats the point of cheating, it ruins the game, you lose the feeling of doing that level after 10 attemps

fair enough, Max Payne (PC) is excellent, with Kung Fu its even better.
Dont knwo about PS2 version though, not seen that many positive comments about it here.
Am determined to beat Dropship, even if the last mission took me over 2 1/2 hrs to beat only 5 more to go.

i wouldnt max payne on ps2 sucks, if you have got a good enough pc get it on that.


or why not wait to get state of emergencey,, on wipeout, there out soon
