Anyone read comic books?

I used to big a fan of the whole dying pop-culture comic book thing.  Batman was great, X-men was great, Spawn was great, the Punisher was great.  But I dont know, now I pick one up and they go for around 4 bucks and there just isnt anything going on.  What do you guys read?

Hell yes my friend, I couldn\'t agree more.

I was a big Spider Man reader, still love Spidey and also big on Spawn. But I read just about everything Marvel.

However for the last ohh about 2 years I haven\'t really liked them. Stopped reading them, not because I have grown up, belive me I haven\'t grown one bit mentally. It\'s just the stories aren\'t as good as they used to be.

I\'ve been known to read the occasional Dark Horse Star Wars comic book. But that\'s about all.

Hulk

etc...

i used to collect comics... me and Jar O Pickles would walk down to the comic store and drool over the ones we wanted and spend our allowance on em. ahhh the good old days.

but now i just read the occasional vertigo comic, like sandman and sh!t like that.

I read manga, mostly Sailor Moon.

heh i have thousands of comics that my dad has from the 50s and 60s - lots of rare ones too - not all in great condition but i have one thats worth 1700 bucks last i checked

probaly more in there worth some but there are like 1000 comics and i aint been bored enough to look through em all

Last time I checked they went for around 25-30 dollars at my local comic book store.  (Sucks huh?)  But actually there was a guy on e-bay a little while ago selling the Spawn series 1-100 and it sold for a little over 1,000 bucks.

I read Spawn for quite while, I\'ve got about 25-30 issues on my shelf (each contains 3 or 2 US issues). I also like Redneck (Finnish and funny) and Groo (Aragones Rules!). I used to read all kinda Marvel comics some years back, but my enthusiasm somehow died away, as with Spawn.

Does Mad count? That I still buy religiously
