I seriously doubt Kwitset made that site, because I\'ve seen it pop up at other forums from multiple sources, and some people were genuinely surprised for awhile. So don\'t get harsh on the poor guy, because I\'m sure it\'s not his fault.

So at the very least, he knew it was a joke, but it\'s highly unlikely that the creator of a site that obviously is in the throes of it\'s 15 minute fame would come to our board and let us all in on it.

deception is not funny, thats like posting a link to something, and havent it redirect to that lame "you are an idiot" site.  its just not humorous

the article itself is funny, but far from clever OR original.  it has been done repeatedly for ebay auctions that coldnt be allowed like people auctioned off one of thier kidneys

Even without the URL just reading that "article" was evidence enough that it was fake.  IGN has a bunch of monkeys writing for them, no doubt, but they do not write as badly as whoever wrote that garbage.  Far too many errors to be anything professionally done, even quasi-professional IGN.

This has been reported to MS, I wonder for how long the author will think he is clever...

Yeah but what I\'m saying is, Kwitset did not do that himself. More than likely he just copied it from somewhere else, thus why I provided links to other forums that had threads on the fake article.

anyways, he got himself banned hours later as he "attempted" to overtake  the board with two of his friends with LOTS of spamming

the kids didnt know i was browsing the forum at school, and was around when they started.  a few clicks, and all thier efforts were wasted
