I’ve heard a few people comment on their ps2 disc tray making strange sounds when opening and closing, like grinding plastic. Well my ps2 makes the noise when it opens and there is no disc in the tray. Im not sure what is the cause of this noise but mine started right after I wasn’t thinking and pushed the cd tray to make it close, instead of pushing the button. So I’m going to push the button from now on.
