Shooting games II
« on: February 08, 2002, 04:10:55 AM »
The thread before interested me so much I thought I\'d start another. While I will agree that Duck Hunt started it all for me as with my many comrads here in this forum, I must say that one of my very favorites was the short but sweet "Elemental Gearbolt".
Great grafix for the console at hand and it made for much fun with my pals.

Note: this thread is for shooters that involved a gun. - not to be mistaken for great top down shooters as expressed in the previous thread.

The Metriod games are cool friend, but have you played any games using a "gun controller"?

There was a game for the PS1 called "Project Horned Owl" (or something like that)
It was pretty good.

I loved Elemental Gearbolt!!!!

Also "Die Hard Trillogy" had an awesome Gun Game.
That game was like 3 games in one!!!    Platform, Driving & Shooting!!!

(I wish they would make a game like this for the PS2.)

Also, Remember that arcade game where you use a stick to move with one hand and used a gun to shoot with the other?
You would fight with another player in a maze-like area.  They should make a linkable game like this one for the PS2!!!

"Point Blank" my freind!!:)

I only played the first. There were soooo many modes it was unbelievable. Also, there was a "Quest" mode which was a VERY cool concept, and I wish there would be a dedicated game to this idea.

You would walk from town to town, and in the random battles, you would shoot it out. Fun stuff:)

NO it wasn\'t "Smash TV"   It actually had a GUN you would use.  The game was a FPS and you could play against another person on the screen next to you.
