Update: Metal Dungeon

A near-complete version of Panther Software\'s upcoming Xbox RPG, Metal Dungeon. Scheduled for release on February 28th in Japan, the game focuses on \'Reinforcers,\' which are humans with cyborg-like body parts. There are ten different types of Reinforcers, from which players can create their own battle group. The finished version will feature more than eighty different enemies and a simplistic four command battle system; attack, magic, item and defense. While players will be able to select from three different viewpoints, all the action in the game will take place in subterranean environments.

only problem i have with that is microsoft isnt the source they should be asking because microsfot isnt making the games

but if they do come out then its all the better for xbox fans :p

Looking sweet! I hope thire is bump mapping.  Thanks to TeamXbox for the info.  :)


While the PC version will hold its own, the Xbox version is planned to have added features such as Pixel shading for stunning graphical effects such as phong lighting, dynamic reflections and refractive transparency. Vertex shaders will also be used for skinning and dynamic level-of-detail. The power of the Xbox should really push through visually on this one.

Xbox Experience: Round 2!!


 Microsoft has confirmed plans for another Xbox preview event in Tokyo later this month. Specifically, Microsoft invites Japanese players to visit the QFront building in Shibuya from February 19-21st. Therein, Microsoft will have playable versions of nearly a dozen upcoming Xbox titles including Double Steal, Metal Dungeon, Genma Onimusha, and Nobunaga\'s Ambition amongst others. Moreover, special booths will be setup within the venue to experience the Xbox\'s 5.1 channel compatible sound capabilities. A series of tournaments are also scheduled for the event, with Xbox goodies, concert tickets, and snowboards scheduled to be distributed. The event will be open to all ages with free admission.
