Well, we haven\'t really had any types of contests on Central that actually required some thought and creativity, so I figured this would be time for us all to have one.

The Contest:

Take the picture below, and edit it in anyway you seefit.  That\'s all there is to it.  Post it on your webspace and use the

The Rules
  • No Nudity or profanity
  • No cheap lens flare effects (I hate those)
  • Keep the picture in its original resolution
  • Try to keep the filesize as low as possible so even 56k people can participate
  • Only two entries per person
The topic will be closed February 28th, and the winners will be posted on March 3rd.  If this contest really takes off, I will send the winner one free game of their choosing via ebgames.com.  If it\'s not on their site, you won\'t be getting it so no asking for Panzer Dragoon or some SNK game that costs a fortune on ebay.  Because I\'m hosting this contest out of my own pocket, I am expecting great entries so if I get nothing but absolute crap, I\'m not going to send anything out.

I am the contest judge and I have no friends on this board so there will be no bias in my decision.  The most original and creative piece by my point of view will be the winner.  Anyways, to get the creative juices flowing, here\'s a take on the picture I did in about 30 seconds using Photoshop.

These took me ages to do, so don\'t laugh. I was up all night!

Glad to see people are being so enthusiastic about this and that the forums are now full of creative digital artists.  Just remember, a filtered photograph is no match for a creative photograph.
