I\'m no Canadian, but it\'s a good day when justice is served. These people work hard to get were they are in the Olympics. It\'s a shame to see someone be deprived of glory when they’ve EARNED it not BOUGHT it.

I agree, but the glory of winning a medal is standing on the podium with your anthem playing gloriously and triumphantly for the whole world to hear.  I assume they aren\'t getting that.  But I\'m glad they so quickly got medals.

I am very happy, yes, thankyou.

I feel really sorry for anyone involved in a sport where the entire marking system is mostly subjective.  Yeah, the judges are supposed to deduct and add certain amounts for certain missing elements, but it seems like I\'ve seen 5.9 given to crappy falling/removing stuff skates, and 5.1 given to flawless ones.  They\'re really going to have to clean house now, heh heh heh. :)

I\'m surprised it happened so quick, but really, it wasn\'t unexpected, they had the whole world in an uproar.  Fixing competitions at this level cannot be tolerated!

I heard they were talking about implementing computers into the judging and hopefully that will make it more fair.  Either that or they need like 50 countries judging, not just 9.  Pretty hard to sway that many people to fix an event.

Well, I\'m glad they got the gold medal, though they won\'t get a podium or anything like that. What\'s sad is that a lot of *****ing had to go on before the couple got it. What\'s even worse is that it wasn\'t the couple who were complaining. It was Canada officials who were whining and moaning about the couple not getting gold, not the couple themselves. Sale and Pelltier were obviously dissapointed, but they didn\'t complain outright about not getting gold. Also, the Russians keep there\'s, so it\'s an everybody wins issue now.

I also heard about the computer judging system, and I personally think it\'s a good idea. Leaving it up to only 9 countries to decide is pretty weak.
