Region X questions

sorry if these have been asked before but I\'ve searched through lots of threads and cant find the answers

After you\'ve done the input codes thing can you watch a Region 2 DVD (with full scart) without using the Region X disc each time to do away with green screen?

Does it actually permanently change anything? I read it stores the codes on a memory card so do the changes only take effect each time you use the disc?

well i got the old one, where it has its own memory card, there is no codes!!!! i put the dvd region disc in, it asks what region dvd ill be playing, then it ejects the disc, i swap them over, so the film is in, press eject button, it goes to the screen that show you memory card, and disc etc. choose the film and watch.


ive heard the new ones dont have the memory card, it save something to your memory card, but i wouldnt think its permernant!!!!
