Looks like my kind of game.  I love it when they have realstic damage, unlike some popular game that so many flocked to.

Something to get used to:

If it\'s a game that involves just driving or a sports game, the first pics sent out will problly never be ingame shots.  I guess they try to hype up thier games the best they can these days.
It\'s only funny until someone gets hurt...then it\'s hillarious.

They look ingame PC shots, but then that doesnt mean PS2 can\'t do this sorta thing, I mean, GT3 looks better overall.

Lovely damage engine though.

Yeah, understood m8.. the only thing to throw me off is the resolution and antialaising.. as far as im aware,
a television set can only output a maximum resolution of 640x480 (possibly 800x600). these seem to be above that,
(given that these look like compressed images from something like 1024x768 at 32 bit colour)
and this is my reasoning of thinking that they could possibly be development shots.

I\'m not knocking the PS2 as i\'m quite aware of the graphical capability of the machine and i love it
but i believe that it can\'t produce the above shots *exactly* but really, i shouldn\'t be so damn picky. lol

Also, the PS2\'s maximum colour depth seems to be something like 24 bit.
If you look at games such as Moto GP 1/2, Extermination, Resident Evil CV and even GTA3, you can notice
that you get colour banding in certain areas. in moto gp 2 theres banding on the circuits, Extermination has it on the
floor\'s (check with sniper rifle - move view slowly) and GTA 3 has it on the floor and walls in darker areas.
Basicaly if you can notice a difference from 16 bit to 32 bit on your PC then you will notice this as plain as day.

I\'m hopeful that this is just a developer problem and not down to the PS2 hardware.

Also, another prime example is when you go into the browser and select game saves. check the colour banding
scrolling from left to right. it seems worse on different colours, you can check by trying different save files.
