america has the best football players though.

you game is a little different yes but our athletes in the nfl make your cfl dudes shudder with fear.

seriously, if your good, you play in the nfl. thats it.

just like the nba, no other basketball league can hang with the nba cause anybody good already plays in the nba.

i would like to see the look on the face os some CFL RB at 5\'11 195 lbs see brian urlacher chugging full speed right at him. Or ray lewis. or derrick brooks.

the NFL has better players. and thats what counts.

now maybe if you take the best CFL team vs. the worst NFL team that would be a game.

It\'s just not gonna happen, you blabber on about how you can pass.  well if youre offense sucks, and the defense sucks, then youre still gonna be able to make good plays. eh?  stick to hockey please   :)

Well, that\'s almost an intelligent reply.
The simple fact is, CFL football is more entertaining.  Yeah, we don\'t have the caliber of players that the NFL does, but it isn\'t because we don\'t create them, or they don\'t play here for a bit, but once they reach a certain level, they just make too much money in the NFL.  Most NFL games are a bunch of strong 300 pound guys running the ball 4 yards at a time, both ways.  Booooooooooooooooring.  The XFL was even more entertaining, only anytime someone good started to show out of the crowd, they left for the NFL, so duh, no wonder that stuff fails.

PS - Yeah, I know about the other XFL problems, but they definitely had a few good ideas that the NFL should adopt.  Not the least of which was a salary cap.

The Salary Cap should be put in place in every major N>American sport

only a fool who cannot do basic mathematics would realize how much not having a salary cap is hurting other sports

and Canadian football IS NOT MORE ENTERTAINING> I quite think the product sucks largely.

This was almost a stupid reply, oh wait, it was.
The NFL too boring because they dont pass? if they dont pass so much how are Art Monk, Jerry Rice, John Elway, Joe Montana, etc, etc, such great names known everywhere? yea thats wut i thought, and if thats still not enough, can you say... rams? and if you wanted to come out of the closet and admit your gay, id have done it a better way than to say the XFL was kewl, im sorry, but thats a big no-no.

The NFL will always dominate the CFL, no matter what happens later on. Though, there have been some good products to come out of the CFL to be real big players in the NFL (Jeff Garcia, Warren Moon, Doug Flutie).

The thing is, the NFL is so much more strategic than the CFL, the CFL is just pass the ball down the field and see who can score more points over a time limit, while the NFL teams set up their opponents with a game plan, work at their weakneses, and exploit them for all they\'re worth. The Coaches and Players who can do this the best make the most money, thus, making them superstars. Props to the guys who can make a good transition from CFL to the NFL.

Outside of all this, though? College Football owns both the NFL and the CFL :D

See Yuz.
What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

GO CUBS!

Perhaps, since your new here, you haven\'t read the rules.  Personal insults aren\'t tolerated on the forums.  You could PM me a personal insult if you would like, but please, please, try and make them more entertaining/original.  Barring that, at least make them funny.

However, I didn\'t say all the teams in the NFL play the pushdown way.  The reason those names you mention are famous are because they\'re the ones who do something different.  I would love to see NFL teams play with CFL rules.  If they did, I\'d probably watch most of the season, instead of just the superbowl.

I can see, that this point of view is in the minority.  So, even though my opinion hasn\'t changed, I\'ll respect that most people like the NFL just the way it is, apparantly.

If Canadian football were any good then you would see it here in the states.  No one cares about it because it blows.  I\'ve watched a couple games in the past and it\'s not for me.  Actually it\'s like XFL type players.  Man did that ever blow.  I wish we could really have a world champion in football.  It would just be stupid though.  Any NFL team would beat the best Canadian team and by far blow away the best Euro team.
