Devil May Cry and Max Payne are both good. DMC has weird camera angels though.

MP is alittle different.

I love both.

DMC without a doubt.  You can either get a relatively crappy port of a standard FPS game, or you can get an amazing game that is somewhat innovative -- and extremely addictive and fun (and CHALLANGING! :))

And yes, DMC does have some crappy camera angles.  But I don\'t think that takes away enough to make it a crappy game completely.

I\'d go with DMC too.  At first bullet time is cool, cause you get to use what all those neat movies have used (matrix/art of war/etc), but it gets old really, really fast.  Not to mention the fact that once your good at it it\'s all, easy battle after easy battle.  :(  Also, the AI is pretty bad, no stealth at all, it\'s straight shooting.

There\'s your problem.  Try playing it on harder difficulty than "easy". ;)

Yeah, DMC is great. But the camera angles really annoyed me. There was always parts I couldn\'t see properly, or, the angle would change so the direction I was going changed too.

It was wierd. Like, you would be going in one direction, the angle would change, then your direction would change according to the angle, even though you didnt change what way you were pushing.

Didn\'t happen often though. Love the game though. Twisted story. Great graphics.

Actually I finished it on BOTH fugitive AND Hard Boiled mode.  I started on New York Minute mode, but even then you just shoot at where the enemies are, and if your too slow, they blow you away without having seen you (from two blocks away).  It was overly easy, and compensated for that by making the dumb AI \'omnicient\' in the harder modes.  Even then the levels were pretty easy, you quickly learn where/when the enemies appear, and can blow em away.

DMC on the other hand was more challenging since things were different later in the game, and with the screwy angles sometimes thrown in... heh heh.  I just enjoyed the overall DMC experience more than I did Max Payne, because where I don\'t have anything bad (anything major) to say about DMC, I can think of a few problems with MP (difficulty, replayability).

Oops, my bad.  I thought you were saying that DMC was too easy and a lot of the guys can be killed in one shot.

DMC is awesome

it has a few area with tough camera angles but the bulk of the game does fine with them

DMC anytime, anyday, any universe!! Max Payne is cool for about 15 minutes, but once you get over the bullet-time thingy, it\'s just another FPS in a 3rd person perspective guise...not to mention the PS2 version is a very bad port.

I wasn\'t a big fan of Max Payne.   It got boring quick like Paul says... in fact I agree with his whole post pretty much.
