Jak and Daxter!!!

Well this past sunday i took mm\'s advice ad went out and bought the game!  may i say-off the chian.  it is the funnest fatasy type game iv played since Zelda.  its a mix between crash badicoot and Zelda, with a little spyro the dragon.  But anyway its to fun, and if anybody has noticed i havent been on since sunday, b/c all of my free time has been put to this game.  I incourage everyone to buy this game.

BTW i have a question
How many power cells do you need to get to power the jet ski thing for the second time, after you beat the fire monster

It\'s way too short and on the very easy side...but it is enjoyable.

It sucked

lame characters, been there done that gameplay

besides the technical aspect and graphics engine the game itself was the biggest disspointment

Naughty Dog should of come up with some unique innovative elements, all they did was take crash and borrow a few Nintendo platform game elemnts and called it a game


You want a game that is being compared to Zelda play Drakan : The Ancient Gates

Not much to gripe about here, as this is one of the finest playing Action titles I’ve played since Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

sorry J+D was a HUGE dissapointment and I find it so hard to believe that you hardcore gameplayers can not fathom its over all lameness


I lost a ton of respect for Naughty Dog, and they were one of my favorites when they were making Crash Bandicoot


I only suggexted Drakan cause he mentioned Zelda as a comparable Adventure game and Drakan is a great Adventure RPG

Im a little anxious to try this game.  It\'s dissapointing to hear that some ppl dont think well of the J&K.  Guess I\'ll have to judge it myself

LMAO and those cutesy ass characters and child based storyline in J+D are for the 20 and over crowd

if anything they\'re both on par with the age thing

J and D was much better then Rayman 2

Jak and Daxter was a huge letdown, and a portion of that reason is it tried to make Crash into Mario 64

Seems like you hyped it up to be the end all game Ddaryl. I went into it without knowing much.  I didn\'t have any expections.  All I wanted was a fun game.  And IMO it was an absolute blast so it passed in flying colors to me.  Oh and I haven\'t played Rayman 2 so keep me out of that discussion.

I loved Crash 2 and 3 on the PSX and I also thought ND was awesome and would come out flying onthe PS2

ND has a great engine and all, but they had 0 innovative gameplay ideas

See I saw ND as the Anti-Nintendo, since I personally dislike Mario and think Mario is overrated crap

then ND comes in and takes Crash Bandicoot and messhes it with Mario 64

I wanted originality, a seperation from nintendo that established ND as a great developer


the game just wasn\'t fun. I played Crash 2 and 3, a free roaming Crash was not what I thought would happen and thatds ALL J+D is a been there done that


most likely the people who love J+D are people who didn\'t play the Crash games

J&D was a big supprise for me.
At first when I saw it I though "WTF?" (Ya know Project Y and all that)

Then I bought it.. And it turned out that I loved it!

I cant wait for J&D2.
Rayman is not up there with J&D.. (I own Rayman Revolution, and enjoyed J&D a lot more!) Instead J&D takes a dump on Rayman

I like the freedome in J&D more.

I\'ve played both and I prefer J&D,but it\'s a matter of taste...

I lost a lot of respect for ND too...they promised a unique game,one of the first true next gen game,both in graphics and gameplay...and what they\'ve shown? A platform like Mario64 with no loading times...copying some elements from other games...

Truly disappointed!
