There\'s an awesome new trailer up for Resident Evil 1 (GCN) at GameSpot.

This game is looking great.. definitely a must-buy for me.

Here are some screenshots: (don\'t mind the image quality, they were ripped from the video)

Gee, the house is dark enough without those shades Wesker! So stubborn..

I don\'t know how will be the atmosphere or story but the graphics rock!! I haven\'t seen better graphics before... it\'s a pitty that it\'s for GameCube.

Looks great. I wonder how the violence.. gore.. level will be effected? With this calibur of graphics.. I doubt Nintnedo (much less congress) will be pleased at seeing 128 bit chunks of brain and skull fragments fly across the screen. Not to mention the way the hunters used to fly around those corners, take your head off, and then play with your severed head a bit...

We can only hope that Nintnedo and Capcom is willing to loosen the reigns a bit. That was one of the most dissapointing factors of RE:CV... :(

Hmm, well.. I know that Nintendo will allow any content on the GameCube as long as ESRB ratings are around.

And also that Mikami-san talked with Miyamoto and was told to "go wild" and do whatever he likes violence-wise.

So it would have to be a 3rd-party (like Congress as you said) if any changes were made.

Click here for another movie featuring Jill and Barry. Looking good!

The gore factor is intact, if you watch any media, espically the early media of the hunter\'s, you\'ll see Chris get his head cut off by a hunter. Pretty damn amazing really.

I am still debating on if I want to M0d my GC for this and then pick it up as an import or just wait for the domestic release (whenever the hell that is).
