WWF RAW for X-box

While I don\'t like it as much as Smackdown there are still some things about it that make it fun to play.  Create-A-Wrestler is severely lacking in appearance, but there\'s an average amount of good wrestling moves to choose from to assign to each wrestler.

The gameplay is pretty good except that it\'s a slow-paced game which makes it hard to play as ppl like the Hardyz.  The grappling system is not very good b/c your opponent breaks/counters you about 60% of the time.

One excellent idea is the crowd/voltage meter.  You can\'t be pinned while the crowd is cheering for you and you can only do your finisher while the crowd is cheering.

Graphics are good except for facial features, HHH looks like poop.  The whole game is setup to look like you are watching RAW on TV and it\'s pretty good in that respect.  Especially the "double feature" instant replay when you lay the smack down.

If you want a 1-10 rating, I\'d say it\'s a 7.  Needs to be faster and needs more CAWrestler options.  Good but not as good as Smackdown:JBI.

yeah, Smackdown had it\'s problems but looks great compared to most aspects of RAW.

I hope that Wrestlemania X8 goes old school N64 style grappling because those were the greatest wrestling games ever made.

When you pick the signs for your create-a-wrestler, one of the choices is "I HATE X-FACTOR"

And another point for RAW is that there are distingusighable, but faceless, 3D people in the audience and you can read their signs on your character\'s entrance.

Most of the wrestlers walk like they have a 3rd-day case of Richard Gere-Gerbilectomy.

Yeah but did you see the dude with the "All Your Base Are Belong to Us" sign?  It was during the HHH/UnderTaker match.

When oh when will PS2 produce a wrestling game like No Mercy, I am the biggest wrestling fan and I love most of the wrestling games, I had all the N64 wrestling titles, I had most PSX wrestling titles and I have Smackdown JBI and Legends of Wrestling for PS2. I am considering buying a game cube just for the wrestling titles, wrestle mania x8 looks amazing,. I think I will wait till LOW2 and SD4 come out before I buy a game cube. Has anyone else got low , I got it about 4 hrs ago and Ive only played it about 1 hr coz of tv.
