Does anyone know of some good motorcycle racing games on ps2?  I\'ve been looking for a little while, but haven\'t found much.

If your a Motorcycle racing fan, pick up Namco\'s MotoGP2 for PS2.  It\'s an excellent Motorcycle game.  Make sure you buy the 2nd one, you could probably pick up the first one for cheap because it was a launch title, but the game has only 5 tracks.  MotoGP2 has the original 5 plus 5 new tracks, and more modes of play.

and if you are looking for Moto-cross - well there are a few of these out and you might have to check some reviews for those as i havent played any

If moto-cross is your m/c style, I can give high marks to MX Rider.  I\'ve tried to find reviews on this forum for this game, but the search engine won\'t kick anything back.  Regardless, I\'ve played it quite a bit.  A buddy at work also purchased a copy and also enjoys the game.  Graphics are better than average...but not top-o-the-heap for the PS2.  One cool deal is that the mud/slop/water is well represented and kicks back "on the TV screen" as though the camera is right there running around with the biker.  Biker & bike get appropriately trashed as the laps add up.  Definitely excellent tracks...good variety.  Don\'t remember there being a track editor, however.  Way above average AI as well.  Competion can be as tight as you wanna play it.  All in all, nice m/c moto-X game for the PS2.

I\'ve played quite a few MX games but I didn\'t think any were that good so all I can say is you might as well wait for freekstyle or MX2003,Although MX2002 was a bit lame I heard that 2003 has a track editor. Not sure on arrival date thaough.I know I\'m getting sick of the arcade MX games and they need to bring out a simulation MX game so it\'s not always so easy.If I was going to suggest any it would be MCM2 on PC,or ATV Offroad fury on PS2.
I see a red door and I want it painted black...

Nah, I\'m not much for mx, I race sportbikes locally in atlanta, that\'s more what I\'m into.  I picked up MotoGP2 yesterday, and it\'s damn amazing.  Replays are more or less exactly like gt3, could have a bit more realism with the mods you can do, but having 10 of the cicuit tracks is awesome, as well as having all the riders.  Great game, thanks for the advice...

thats ok, the only prob i heard about motogp2, is it jusat like the first, no major improvements, but that is only bad if you already own the first.

shame only 10 tracks, 500 gp has like 14...or something like that!!!

my fav used to be kevin schwatz ( prob spelled really wrong) on his lucky strike suzuki!!! number 34 all the way

yeah, there are 16 circuits this year on the GP500 schedule.  Starts in one month on April 7th at Suzuka, can\'t wait...
