For me..I like tasteful wings...meaning,,each wing fits each car a particualr way. I\'ve seen saleen wings on neons that look prtty good..but yet ive seen stock wings on neons that didnt  just look right.

I dont care it one has a modded porsche prepped for hill climbs with a wing that extended 2 feet above the roof line..yes its VERY functional, like th eone i posted a week or so ago, but still UGLY as sin. A wing has to fit a cars contours and body lines nicely..no matter what type of wing it is. Otherwise, I don\'t like it.

Video, they also help to maintain stability at high speeds because it directs the air flow away from the car.

But most people shouldn\'t be doing those kinda speeds on a public road...

Yeah, it is what you said.  That\'s why I said they are good for the track, but that is it.

And no, these are wings, not spoilers.  I don\'t see people going around in Nascar with some gay ass wing a foot wide 8 inches high off the car.
I wear a necklace now because I like to know when I\'m upside down.

The test that Lingenfelter had done on the Corvette proves that it doesn\'t take a friggin fin (spoiler) to keep the a$$ end of your car down. If the body were constructed correctly in a wind tunnel like the Vette, the car (like the test on the Vette showed) would be able to withstand speeds well above 200 mph. For those that never saw the article on the Vette you can go to Lingenfelters\' site and check it out.

The test was on a circle track not a 1/4 mile bud. And the top speed that they reached on the first round was 236 mph.

The specs on the Vette :
