Problem is in the USA suing people has become a lucrative passtime. As long as she\'s reasonable, she will get a big out of court settlement, because Nintendo will look at this and say, 1 year of court battles, which we will almost certainly win, will cost us 300k, in lawyers fees. Settle out of court, for 80k. Done, and done.
Problem with the US system is that you can sue for things like mental anguish, in the millions of dollars, and get them. Here in C, you can sue for pain/suffering (very small amounts though), but not mental anguish. It\'s also much more difficult to file/win such a case here, so nobody sues anybody over trivial matters.
PS - If the kid did die, from his 48 hours a week of N64, it isn\'t trivial, but suing Nintendo over it is.
