Hey, I ran across this new while surfing the net. I\'ll let the links do most of the talking. Seems Sierra is gearing up for a sequel to one of their Quest series... and Space Quest\'s name is the one poping up. I can\'t wait for actual confirmation on weither this is a true sequel, a mini-game pack (lame), or a remake of the original series. In either case, I hope it makes a transition to the PS2 and Xbox as well. If this IS a sequel, Josh Mandel, Mark Crowe, and/or Scott Murphy had best be the designers. Sierra\'s made a lot of screwups in the past, lets just hope their smart enough not to piss off what guanteed market they already have.
Here\'s a screenshot of the upcomming game SWAT4. Notice the picture in on the far right pinball machine?

And here\'s the link to GameSpot\'s article.

No "Offical" word yet though. Further rumors point to an "unoffical" SQ7 game being developed, with Josh Mandel (SQ5 & 6) being the head writer. Another rumor goes along the lines that Sierra was contacted by an "Independant" group of developers who were interested in making a Space Quest sequel with Sierra help as publisher, though no offical yes or no was given at the time.
Here\'s a screenshot of the Aluminum Mallard rendered in 3D, a piece of Concept Art from the SQ7 team Josh Mandel is working for.

*(Also, not sure if anyone is interested, but Josh Mandel was previously working for Sega before joining the Unoffical SQ7 team. He worked on and approved for release many of the Dreamcast\'s US launch titles.)
