I have an XBOX launch party as part of my work tommorrow, and I am dreading it.

Microsoft execs telling a room full of 30 people why the XBOX is better then the PS2 or Gamecube, and how Microsoft are so much better then them.

Now, don\'t get me wrong, I don\'t have a problem with being able to testdrive all 22 launch titles, I mean, hey, I get paid to go, so thats all I care about, but what am I supposed to say when the ask me what console I own?

"So, you gonna buy an XBOX"

Probably not

"Why not"?

Cause I already have a PS2 and 2 DVD players, I think anything else is glutiny.

"But this is so much better then a PS2"

Really???

See, this is my problem...

Just be honest and tell them that your all for the PS2 but you\'ll keep your eyes open for any good titles that may soon come out for the X-Box.:p

ask them where\'s the A+ titles?

and why the PS2 [a two year old console] is selling twice as much as the xbox?

ask them why they are biting the hand that feeds them and cutting nvidia out of the xbox2?

oh and tell them that mm from psx2central.com is mocking them for a mediochre japan launch and an emminent europe failure

ahh this should be funny

ask them if they lost lost of money when they bought oddworld inhabitants out, when later their games ended up selling like crap

ask them why the xbox controller feels like a baked potato (yes I have big hands and still it feels like ot was made for a gorrila)

ask them why the xbox looks like my old air conditioning unit

ask them why they are screwing europe over by asking such a high price

ask them why kabuki warriors is one of the worst games known to mankind

ask them why PG isn\'t the GT3 killer it was said to be

oh and...ask them why bill gates is a geek

Although I\'m pro-Xbox I\'d get pissed if a bunch of M$ suits told me why their system is better than the PS2.  Ask them if it\'s ok to own more than 1 console or are they grumpy old fanboys.  If you see one of your co-workers sucked in by the hype tell them about the PS2 or just another console in general.

But if they don\'t imply how much better system X is over system Y then I say No Worries & enjoy the free gaming!

Well... it\'s a launch party alright. It\'s just that the Xbox isn\'t the thing getting launched.
