Does the x-box sell any consoles in US/JPN?N

Have they passed 2 million consoles in US yet? Have they passed 1 million in JPN yet? MS said they would sell 6 million units before the end of June.

and to my estimates, about 24k this week

No official sales figures have been released for the Xbox in the US since Jan...

No official numbers were released in Japan either...you\'ll probably have to wait till June to know if they passed the mark or not.

The 24k number is my estimate, all this week the game Samuri has consistantly beat DOA3, Samuri sold 25k last week and will likely sell less then 20k this week. 24k for xbox this week is my concervative number.

The dengeki numbers are not "offical" but they have proven to be very close to the real thing.

Bossieman 123k is really not bad for a first time gamemaker to launch a system. If you look beyond your hatred and fear of XBox, it outsold MANY other Japanese launches.

Better than PSX, might I add. And MS is putting even MORE behind XBox than Sony did with PSX.

But this isn\'t 7 years ago, this is now.  The industry has grown exponentially since then, so it\'s not a big feat to do better than the PSX launch.

As of right now, Microsoft is doing decent for the Xbox being Microsoft\'s first attempt to enter the industry, but in reality they are still just picking up the scraps Sony leaves behind.


And yes, those numbers are as good as official.  Every sales tracker is posting the same thing, about 130 thousand the first week, and about 30 thousand the second week.

If you think 123k is good and 50 k the week after then I feel sorry for you. This is not 1994 this is 2002. The x-box has no chance what so ever in Japan if the numbers don´t start to get bigger.
